          14300, 13100, 12500, 16700, 14900, 13600)

Question 1

Mean, Median, and Mode

Find the three measures of central tendency of rent.

  1. Remove that value and compute the mean and the median again.
  2. Which of the two measures changes more?
  3. Which measure better describes the typical rent near campus? Explain in one or two sentences.
