I was born in Taichung, Taiwan. I studied Agricultural Economics and Political Science at National Taiwan University, followed by master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics and Statistics. I am currently a Ph.D. student in Agricultural Economics at NTU. My research focuses on environmental and resource economics, with an interest in how policy affects behavior, resource allocation, and social welfare.
My work spans agriculture, energy, transportation, and urban economics, using causal inference and large-scale data to study environmental resources, the energy transition, road safety, public transportation, and urban environments.
John Tukey once said, “The best thing about being a statistician is that you get to play in everyone’s backyard.” For me, this is also what makes research interesting.
Alongside research, I teach statistics, data analysis, and applied programming at Shih Chien University. I hope to continue starting from important questions in the real world and using data and empirical methods to understand how policy shapes our environment and society.
