Submission Requirements
⚠️ All assignments must be submitted using the official template provided below.
Submissions that are missing any of the following elements will receive a grade of zero. This policy is non-negotiable.
Template
Copy the following template as the starting point for every submission. Replace all placeholder values before submitting.
The template needs the uuid package. If you have not installed it yet, run this once in the RStudio console:
install.packages("uuid")Each exercise has three questions, so the template has three ## Question headings. If an exercise ever has a different number, add or remove ## Question headings to match — that is the only part of the template you are expected to change.
Checklist
Before submitting, verify that your document satisfies all of the following criteria:
What you may and may not change. The title, author and date fields, the setup chunk (including echo = TRUE), and the UUID chunk must stay exactly as they are — the UUID must be visible in your submitted PDF, so never set that chunk to include=FALSE or echo=FALSE. You may change the output: field if you need a different LaTeX engine for Chinese characters (see the R page), and you may of course add your own answers and code chunks under each question.
Submit Your Assignments
Upload your PDF here and place it in the corresponding folder (e.g., ex1 for Exercise 1).
After uploading, check that your file appears in the folder with exactly the name you intended. If you upload the same name twice, the newer file replaces the older one, so re-uploading a corrected version is fine — but a file whose name was altered on upload no longer matches the required pattern and will be treated as an incorrect submission.
